Note to self

Slow down

You have time.

This idea of not having enough time is what makes you feel anxious, agitated and in a continuous state of perceived urgency.

It’s what makes you feel overwhelmed to the point of shutting down.

It makes you enter into freeze mode which results in procrastination.

An endless loop it seems.

The only cure for this, is to slow down.

I know, it sounds counterintuitive but try it anyway.

Slow down and zoom out for a second.

This will regulate your nervous system which will create safety in your body and mind.

A stressed out mind has a narrowed down view of the world.

It’s lens is restricted and can only perceive what is right in front of it, not the entire picture.

You’re a human being, not a machine that was born to tick off endless to-do lists.

Slow down, you’re safe.
